The Farmville Juniors recently held their February business meeting at Charley’s Waterfront Cafe on Wednesday, February 12th.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Sassafras Meeting Room at the Weyanoke.
Club President, Lynn Chapman, who serves as the Alice Kyle District Third Vice President and Director of Junior Clubs attended the GFWC Virginia Mid-Winters Board meeting held on Saturday, February 1st. Lynn reported the meeting was very productive and a lot of planning was done for an upcoming event.

The Farmville Junior Woman’s Club would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays!
The Farmville Junior Woman’s Club had a successful Breakfast with Santa yet again! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Books for Babies project. Our project will ensure a baby book is presented to each newborn at Centra Southside Community Hospital.
We would like to extend our many thanks to students from the Prince Edward County Middle and High School National Honor Society students. We appreciate your help, and you all did a fantastic job!
And a special thank you to the Virginia Children’s Book Festival for their donation of books. Each child who visited Santa was presented a book.
